Make a product video for an online store

Use accurate source photographs, restrained movement and verified captions so the video does not invent the product being sold.

A product video should help a buyer understand the real item. Generated atmosphere can support the presentation, but it cannot establish dimensions, materials, fit or performance. Decide which details need real evidence before making a visual brief.

Prepare an accurate product source

Use clear photographs you are entitled to process. Keep the shape, label, colour and important components visible. A single photograph may support a gentle camera move, but it does not reveal the hidden side of the product.

Do not ask the model to demonstrate a mechanism or feature that the source cannot substantiate. Use real footage for a factual demonstration and generated material for a clearly appropriate supporting role.

Animate one simple action

A restrained push-in, environmental movement or a controlled reveal is easier to assess than a product rotation with complex interaction. Describe what should move and keep the composition compatible with the source.

Watch the whole output for changes in shape, labels, buttons, reflections and hands. If a detail is wrong, replace or correct the material; an attractive result can still misrepresent the item.

Starter brief — adapt to your own inputs
A slow camera push-in toward the original ceramic mug on a clean tabletop. Soft side light, gentle background movement, one continuous shot. Keep the product clearly visible, no captions or new objects.

Add verified information in the edit

Set product names, specifications, prices and subtitles in a controlled layer. Check them against the actual offer. Narration should describe only features supported by the product information.

Choose framing and duration for the destination placement, checking its current requirements. Keep essential text away from interface overlays and review it on a phone.

Review the claim as well as the picture

Compare the final video with the actual item and the source photographs. Do not imply a generated performance is a recorded test. Verify that you have the necessary rights for the sources, people, music and intended distribution.

Include rejected attempts and finishing work in the cost estimate. A simple accurate video is more useful for a product page than an elaborate scene that changes what the buyer receives.

Choose a relevant model

Use the current model and settings in the studio. The total cost of a usable result includes attempts, source preparation and any finishing edits.
