Make a birthday video card from a photograph
Build a personal greeting with a clear photograph, gentle movement, checked words and optional speech or music.

A birthday video card works through a personal message, not the number of effects. Choose one photograph, a short greeting and a visual mood that suits the recipient. Keep the project simple enough to review the whole result carefully.
Choose the photograph and the idea
Use a clear image with the important face or object visible. Keep an original copy and consider whether the person is comfortable with the image being processed and shared. A private greeting and a public social post have different audiences.
If the source is damaged, compare any restoration against the original. Missing detail may be invented, so do not assume a sharper face is necessarily more faithful.
Animate gently or keep the still
A small camera move or a subtle environmental change can be enough. Large gestures and head turns may change the person’s appearance. A still photograph with a controlled transition is a good option when animation distracts.
Ask for one compatible movement and inspect every part of the output. Do not accept a clip only because its first frame resembles the source.
Write a message that sounds personal
Mention a shared memory or a specific wish instead of filling the screen with generic praise. Check the recipient’s name and the final wording before adding speech. Do not make the recipient appear to say invented words.
If using a speech model, listen to the name and pronunciation in a short excerpt. Music is optional; keep it below the voice and check the applicable usage terms.
Assemble and check the greeting
Add the written greeting in an editor so spelling and line breaks stay exact. Leave enough time to read it and watch the final file on the device where it will be received.
Check the current generation quotes and set an attempt limit before starting. Keep the accepted photo, message, audio and export together so a small correction does not require rebuilding the entire card.
Choose a relevant model
Use the current model and settings in the studio. The total cost of a usable result includes attempts, source preparation and any finishing edits.
