Make a travel video from photographs

Arrange a short journey, add compatible movement and keep real memories separate from invented geographic detail.

A travel video can connect photographs into a short journey even when you did not record video on the trip. Choose a route or a moment to remember, then use movement sparingly. New frames are imagined from the source; they are not a documentary record of unseen places.

Select a sequence with a purpose

Pick an opening view, a few distinct details and a closing moment. Remove near-duplicates. Keep source photographs and their location notes so captions do not rely on memory.

Use sources you are entitled to share and consider bystanders’ privacy. Avoid turning a private travel collection into a public post without reviewing who and what is visible.

Match movement to the photograph

A gentle push-in can work for a clear landmark; subtle water or foliage movement may suit a landscape. Avoid asking for a large orbit that requires inventing the back of a building or an unseen street.

For photographs with people, keep motion restrained and inspect faces and hands throughout. Use the original still when an animation introduces distracting changes.

Starter brief — adapt to your own inputs
A restrained slow push-in toward the original coastal landscape. Gentle movement in the water and distant foliage, calm pace, one continuous shot, no new buildings or people.

Build rhythm and context

Arrange the scenes so the viewer understands the progression. Add a short caption or narration where the location or memory needs explanation. Keep factual place names and dates in the edit rather than generated imagery.

Use music to support the pacing, leaving space for narration or original permitted sound. A short sequence of distinct moments is usually clearer than a long collection of similar views.

Review the trip you are presenting

Check buildings, signs, faces and landscape features against the sources. Do not present generated details as proof of an actual route or event. Review the complete export for awkward transitions and unreadable captions.

Budget from the selected models and planned attempts. Existing stills, controlled pans and generated clips can be combined; not every second of the film needs a new generation.

Choose a relevant model

Use the current model and settings in the studio. The total cost of a usable result includes attempts, source preparation and any finishing edits.
